When I am having trouble “getting dressed” in the morning, I love defaulting to something like some good ol’ trendy basics for an outfit. You know, basics being jeans, a t-shirt, a cardigan, and shoes. But instead of just going with basics, you amp it up a notch by going with... trendy basics. A flowy blouse in lieu of a t-shirt. Skinny coated denim in lieu of regular blue jeans. A soft and flowy striped cardigan in lieu of a basic cardigan. Fun and comfortable booties in lieu of flats.

Dress it all up with some long necklaces and leopard print earrings? Yup, yup, and yup!

Even as I’m getting down to the last few weeks of this pregnancy (or, you know, at least the home stretch), I’m finding I feel my best on the days that I take just a little bit of that extra time for myself. You know, six minutes instead of five. Haha! 🙂
