  1. I love the message of this post! I am brand new to this whole blogging thing and honestly have been freaking myself out over the past couple of days about not being good/fashionable/creative enough to start a blog and your message reminded me why I decided to start one in the first place, to have creative outlet and a fun project to work on! Thank you!

  2. I love the items that you put together to make a unique outfit! Looking forward to linking up with you on Mondays! Xo, Stephanie

  3. Love your style Molly! Especially the pops of teal in this outfit. I do take fashion risks just for the thrill of being a risk taker. I also like walking down the street and making people think twice about what I am wearing (at least I hope I do!) Although I do not photograph and post all these outfits to my blog because sometimes all those risks fail & ultimately I reconsider what I am wearing. One of my favorite quotes which I feel defines my own personal style is “The master has failed more times than the beginner has even tried” – Steven McCraine Does anyone else feel this way about their own style?! Oh, and thanks for hosting the link up!

  4. Totally agree! People do take it wayyy too seriously, including myself. Sometimes I will spend so much time fixing an outfit for a post. Loving this outfit btw. The print is incredible and you mixed so many unique pieces and they work perfectly together! Love every item that you are wearing!

  8. SO true love this! I’ve always struggled with feeling confident in my fashion choices, but it’s so true that it’s not that big of a deal and I just need to try stuff! 🙂

  9. This was SO refreshing to hear, such a great reminder. I’m definitely guilty of taking it too seriously sometimes, but I started a blog to have more fun with style and fashion–why should I let that go?! Love what you said here Molly, as always! 🙂
And your friend was right, this is such a great look–such an unexpected, but cute, combo that totally works!

  10. Love this post! I am all about taking risks and having fun with fashion. When we start to take it too seriously, all the fun is sucked out of it! Fashion is supposed to uplift and inspire rather than becoming a source of stress and worry! You are ROCKING that kimono vest lady!

  11. Being over-fifty, I have a lot of people telling me what I should or should not wear, of which I completely dismiss. Fashion is all about fun to me. I love a fun, fashion style. I will be doing a post later this week on a style that is super fun.

  12. This is so cute!! I agree that style is what you make it! I have never really had a personal style, and sometimes I wish I did. But it is also fun to make certain styles your own(: And I dont know how I ever lived without those earrings! I have five pairs now! Susan

  13. I adore the pop of turquoise accessories! Such a flawless look and I love how happy you are in these photos. So many bloggers are too serious and I love that you can tell you are really enjoying yourself with these photos. Love! Happy Monday!
