  1. i love this look! i nabbed this skirt on super clearance but haven’t quite known how to wear it yet. just my luck, i have an almost identical tan/blazer that i think i will definitely wear with it, thanks for the inspiration!

  2. It did make sense. A lot of it, actually.:) I like stripes, but I’d never buy a horizontal pattern like this one. Well, maybe now, because you look great!;)

  3. totally love the stripes and love the blue you have used on the top to pull the stripes out too! Thanks for being a Wardrobe Weds player this week.

  4. I love that you did a striped skirt (haven’t seen many of them!) and you look amazing Molly. Stripes are kinda a happy print so they seem to fit your personality 🙂
Thanks as always for linking up friend!

  6. This is such a cute look on you Molly, and so unexpected to see the stripes on the skirt rather than on top! Love the sweater, and the jacket is adorable too – how cute are those ruffles on the cuffs! 🙂

  7. LOVE this outfit!

Seriously, it’s so put together and cute. That skirt is adorable, and I love your tip for slimming the hips. I’m totally using that idea.

I would wear this outfit all the time if I were you. It’s a really good one. 🙂

  8. I love this skirt! I have the same problem with my hips, so I usually steer clear of stripes. But maybe I should try this.

Anywho. I mentioned you on my blog post today and I just thought you should know that. Because I think you’re neat. And pretty.

  9. I LOVE that style tip and I know about you mean about tucking the shirt into this type of skirt and it not being complimentary. You are inspiring me to REALLY want to layer because you do it so wonderfully!

  10. You are seriously the best layerer I know! I’m afraid of bulk with layering but you looks slimmer!

I saw that skirt on Target clearance for weeks and just thought, “summer”. Look at you making it all season-less.

  11. As you know, I love this skirt! I tried my jcrew blazer just like that with mine and it looked funny 🙁 I need to figure out how to make it work like you did! Adorable! 🙂

  12. I have a minor stripe addiction, but it usually happens when they’re black and white (or some solid color). I love how you mixed it up here–the colors are so pretty!

  13. I love this look! I would have NEVER known how to wear a striped skirt and would have definitely been too afraid of what might become of my hips. But this looks amazing and makes it totally flattering. You always make any trend so wearable for anyone!

  14. Love this outfit girl. I know what you mean about learning to dress for hips…my mamma gave me hers! And she’s worked them her whole life, haha. I love your fearlessness of stripes. And That skirt is so darling. Did you get it recently?

  15. This is sooooo cute! I love how you made the more summery colored skirt look perfect for the season with the blazer and boots. Brights plus neutrals equals happier winter outfits in my book. And this outfit would still be really cute with a solid colored pencil skirt, but stripes really do make everything more awesome…

  16. This is one of my favorite skirts on you! The colors are fantastic. Love the trend of the month challenge! Ok…official Chapel Hill Move date – Tuesday. We should plan lunch late next week 🙂 Brooke too!

  17. I love how this striped skirt isn’t your average, everyday skirt. It’s completely fabulous with the varying widths and colors of the stripes and it’s such a visually interesting garment, it really makes the whole outfit. I love how you just went with accent garments, the blue sweater and the pretty beige jacket just help to show off the skirt.
