I am really lucky enough to work in an office / work environment that doesn’t have an official dress code, so I can pretty much wear whatever I want to work.
But, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t times when I need to be in “business casual” mode or looking “office appropriate.” When those times have come up throughout this pregnancy, it’s been a bit more challenging.
So, I’ve learned that it’s important to have a comfortable, yet professional looking dress, a good cardigan, and a comfortable pair of dressy, yet practical wedges. Trust me, I am NOT good with heels – I’m much more of a flats girl, but these wedges are seriously amazing and SO comfortable.
This entire ensemble is pretty much my go to when I need to be a little more “dressed up” for a networking event or something like that. And, with just the switch of a cardigan or necklace, the outfit feels totally different.
What about you? Do you work in an office environment with a strict dress code? What are your “office” staples?
