Three Ways to Wear Coated Denim & Link-Up
I have said it before and I’ll say it again, I LOVE doing these “Ways to Wear” posts. They’re so fun for me and such a great way to see one piece styled many different ways. That’s what our closets are really all about, right? REMIXING. The ability to remix MAKES a closet.
Anyway, with that being said, I’m back for another post in my “Ways to Wear” series… and this week I’m showing y’all three ways to wear COATED DENIM!
Now, I was totally hesitant to try coated denim. I was insanely intimated by it and thought there is NO WAY that I can pull off a pair of coated denim jeans / pants. I’m not a super skinny girl and I thought coated denim only looked good on super skinny girls.
Not the case, y’all! Coated denim, when worn well (and with a good fit), can look good on almost anyone! I really wanted to try this trend and got these Level 99 Charley Zipper Detail Coated Skinny Jeans in a Stitch Fix fix a few months back and I’ve loved them ever since.
So, without further ado, here are three ways to wear coated denim pants:
With a Pop of Color (and a kimono!)
With Leather Accents (Like a leather vest!)
With a Denim Jacket and Feminine Accessories

Molly I love coated jeans but have yet to buy any – not sure why! I think they’re really flattering (as you quite rightly said on just about everyone). Love how edgy you styled yours with the vest 🙂

I admit that I’m a little intimidated by the coated jeans look, but you really do make them look great and totally wearable. I love all three of these looks and how different they all are–from edgy to casual and feminine!
