CONFESSION: This outfit was photographed in OCTOBER. October, I tell you. I mean, it was October 31st, so not like the beginning of October, but still. In any event, I completely forgot to share it. And, it’s one of my favorite dresses and one of my favorite comfy styles that LOOKS like I’m dressed up, but I actually feel like I’m sorta wearing PJs (or something). So, despite it being an outfit that’s like three months old at this point, I opted to share it anyway.

Sue me.

Yeah, you can bet that my belly is MUCH larger at this point than what it looks like in these pictures. But hey, you do what you gotta do. Right?

I also have to be honest that I feel like I have fallen way behind lately on what feels like all the things. I’ve felt very blessed that this pregnancy hasn’t had too many challenges (well, challenges that have kept me from doing things…), but I have definitely gotten to the point where I’m just exhausted.

Between trying to get work done, taking care of a crazy and energy-filled toddler, taking care of general housework, the like, and other various and sundry tasks, I’m starting to get to the point where I feel… overwhelmed. But, I’m learning to just live and let live and I’m learning when to just stop, take a deep breath, relax, and rest in the fact that I can’t do it all and that is A-OKAY. I don’t HAVE to do it all. I just have to do what’s right in front of me and the rest can wait.

So, I’m trying to give myself a little grace and also just tell those around me, “I’m sorry. I just can’t do it all right now. Doesn’t mean I don’t love you or WANT to do it all… but for my own sanity… I just can’t.”

Okay. Snapping out of the Debbie Downerness. Here’s to giving and receiving grace and looking at life with the glass half-full and being grateful for life’s blessings.

What about you? How are YOU doing lately?

Happy Wednesday!
