I don’t usually share this many “personal” family posts in one week, but I was too excited to share these images with you that I could not possibly put off waiting to share them! Every year, there is an unbelievably gorgeous and amazing sunflower field in Raleigh, North Carolina. This year, Dorthea Dix Park turned over five acres into gorgeous sunflowers. I knew immediately that I wanted to get family pictures taken there.
Now, some of you might say why and some of you might know exactly why. I will never regret having “too many images” of my family. Family pictures are extremely important to me and, now more than ever, I want to capture my family at this point in our lives. We’ve been through A LOT as a family in the past year, and I want to treasure these moments together.
I reached out to my amazing photographer, Rebecca Keller Photography, and asked her if she’d be willing to take sunflower field pictures, and she immediately said yes. I basically had to bribe my family and I don’t even care. I have zero shame for bribing them. Because the moment Becky sent me our images, I legitimately cried. I love them THAT MUCH. I will treasure these family photos forever. I wanted to share them with you and document them here so I can also look back on them for years to come.
I hope you enjoy seeing some of my favorites!! (And seriously, Becky, thank you… I CAN’T THANK YOU ENOUGH.)
Be still my heart…
I love this one!
She looks so grown up!
This is just so magical. I love this boy with all my heart.
MY FAVORITE OF ALL TIME. I cry every time I look at it. My heart is walking outside of my body.
The love of my life.
I hope you enjoyed these!! Which one was your favorite? Do you take family pictures every year?
