  1. That is so exciting! Isn’t it so cool to see God provide just in the nick of time? This post resonates with me so much because this year we waited for what seemed like FOREVER for my husband to get a new job… the praying with what seemed like no answer was so frustrating at times. Several months of waiting and interviews and more waiting later, my husband got laid off from his current job on a Tuesday, and had an offer for his #1 pick on that Friday – IN THE SAME WEEK! It is insane to look back and see how perfectly God orchestrated the last several months, and while we were stressed waiting, He came through and provided a job at the perfect time. Not to mention the job he got now is so much better than any others he’d gotten turned down for previously. I really need to revisit this story and remind myself of the truth that God provides for us no matter what. It may not look like how we would expect, but I would wager to say that most of the time it turns out to be better. Thanks for sharing this Molly! So glad for you and your family and that you are finally rid of that house! Praise God for taking care of the big and little things.

  2. I just came upon your blog, and I’m already in love! This is such a beautiful exemplar of God’s never-ending provisions if we just keep the faith and trust in His word. Good for you and the hubby on finding a beautiful new home!

  3. I love this story, thank you so much for sharing! So true, God is always on time and it’s hard to see it during, an maybe we don’t ever get to really see it, but he’s still always there! What a witness and testimony you are. So glad to call you a friend! 🙂

  4. I SO needed to read this. We moved in June, to the house that literally fell in our lap. We had a buyer for ours, but 4 days after we moved, our “friend” that was buying threw the home inspection papers back in our faces and wanted a ton of stuff done. That was TWO months after the inspection. Needless to say, that friendship went south, and we are still sitting on our other house. I pray something happens, and soon! Congratulations!!

  5. So encouraging Molly! He’s always working things together for the good. Such a great reminder in pressing times. Thanks for sharing.

  6. You know, I can totally relate to this on a different level. We struggled with secondary infertility for ten years. I know that there is a lesson to be learned from our struggle, but I have not figured it out yet. I am still listening. As I was walking with my friend one day, I told her that, when I get to Heaven, I am asking God why He allowed that terrible struggle. She quickly responded, “Do you think it will matter then?”. Put me in my place. Sometimes we realize His lessons and sometimes we don’t. WE jsut have to stay faithful. Blessings to you on the sale and happy weekend! Susan

  7. I’m so glad it has worked out for you. We had a difficult situation with house as well. My partner had been married before he met me. After he and his wife separated they decided not to sell the property until after the mortgage penalty period. Thier divorce was amicable and they both were happy to move on with their lives, it is very sad when this happens and there are other (minor) issues that have arisen from him being married before for us. However the house – we lived in it, I got a job close by, we love each other very much it made sense. The penalty period would be up soon and it would go up for sale…. except it then took a year to sell. We felt frozen, we couldn’t really move on ourselves and make proper plans for our future and although his ex-wife didn’t live in the property she obviously had a big interest and she too was eager to move on. We sort of gave up – booked a big holiday asnd tried to forget about it for a while and then all of a sudden the house sold and we had a 1 month turn around and my partner was away for work. It was crazy but then we didn’t have time to think and analyse and I found us a wonderful house to rent to try out country life for a year before we bought a new house together. Turns out we love the country life and the village we are in we had not even been aware of before so by moving so quickly we have found our ideal spot – by accident! We also still did go on our big holiday to Hong Kong. It was indeed a crazy but very fortuitous 3 months. 🙂
