Today was a day of high highs and low lows. God showed up today in a big way. We had our first ever @generationlifech CHOIR and when @mj_vanasek asked me if I’d be willing to serve as the director I didn’t even hesitate to say yes. The choir kid in me was so excited, but honestly seeing God use something that was such a massive part of my life for His glory was so awesome. Also, if you’d told me a year and a half ago that our “little” church plant would have a choir this soon, I wouldn’t have believed you. Oh me of little faith. 🤣 To God be the glory!

“Until one has loved an animal, a part of one’s soul remains unawakened”

Despite all we tried, we couldn’t save our sweet Willie. We count it a privilege to be a part of the birth and the death of Willie. Born on the farm and died on the farm. He was our sweetest goat, and also our most mischievous. He would get so distracted by fun and eating that he regularly would lose his family and be very dramatic until he was reunited. Losing a loved animal is the hardest part of farming.

Yes, that’s my goat stuck in my porch gate. She did eventually get out. No, I don’t know how she did it. #goatsofinstagram

Look, even if other people don’t think my bits are funny, at least I do.

We’ve hatched our own baby chicks at least four or five times and it will never not get old. I love watching new life be born. 🧡🐣🐥🐔

These kids will never wonder, “do mommy and daddy like each other?” 🤣 Happy Easter!

(The only pics I got of us today… it was a beautiful Resurrection Sunday!)

My daily walks through the trees have become a balm to my soul. A chance to quiet myself and only hear the sounds of the crunching leaves and chirping birds.

New @therootcollective sandals got me like 😍😍😍. If you’ve been around awhile, you know my looong time love of The Root Collective. With a couple exceptions, they’re basically the only shoes I wear 😂 Started by one of my dearest friends, @bethanyltran, The Root Collective partners with skilled artisans and shoe makers in Guatemala to make the most beautiful (comfortable!) ethically made shoes.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Every purchase makes sure a parent has a living wage job to provide for their families
🌍 The preorder model ensures consistent work and also reduces environmental impact by only producing what they need.
👞 The materials are 100% leather uppers and natural rubber outsoles which mean these shoes will last. My first pair of TRC shoes are nearly eight years old and still look amazing.
😍They’re not just gorgeous, but comfy!

The newest line of sandals are available NOW. Visit stillbeingmolly.com/trc and use code MOLLY20 for 20% off!
