Now, today’s post… I wanna get a little honest with you guys. Not that I’m not always honest, because I am, but I guess what I’m saying it… I’m gonna get a little real with y’all…
My dear friend and photographer Emily and I took these photos a few weeks ago and, well, it was BLAZING hot outside and I was insanely nauseous. The nausea this go ’round has been crucial… and this day, in particular, was pretty bad. And by pretty bad, I mean really bad.
BUT! I was determined to make it through. And make it through we did! Hallelujah!
Also, because of the intense heat and humidity (oh, North Carolina summers), my hair went all kinds of CRAY CRAY and I did not realize how AWFUL it looked until later. Woops. Sorry, not sorry?
I love this kimono… I have worn it so much and it’s just the best, lightweight thing to throw on with a simple outfit. I never EVER thought I’d be a “kimono” girl, if that’s even such a thing, but man… I love it.
I also fully support all the fringe that is so in right now. Who knew that I’d love fringe so much? Not I… but, much like the kimono trend… I’m a fan and I’m hoping it sticks around awhile.
Random Dinosaur? Monster?
