If I’m being totally honest with you, I was really proud of this ensemble. I know, I know, pride is an ugly characteristic. But my wardrobe has basically dwindled to about 10 different items – and that might even be pushing it. A lot of my maternity clothes aren’t even fitting anymore. Those maternity stores don’t tell you that there comes a point in pregnancy where pretty much nothing is going to look right on you.
I found this lace blazer thing in the back of my closet and I realized I hadn’t worn it in FOREVER. Then, my sweet friend Alyssa sent me this maternity / nursing tank as a pregnancy gift. (Thanks, friend!!!)
Then BOOM! This outfit was born. And even though I feel like my body is falling apart, this outfit gave me that extra boost of confidence I needed to get through the day.
And yes, I am aware black flip-flops aren’t exactly the “cutest shoes” to match this look, but guess what? They are the only footwear that fits me right now. Sue me.
Here’s to being 36 weeks pregnant and rocking a lace blazer thing in the middle of summer! WOOP!
What is giving YOU an extra boost of confidence right now?
