If I had to think of my FAVORITE kind of outfit, outside of just my standard old jeans and t-shirt, it would be the kind of outfit that is crazy comfortable, BUT, people think you’re really dressed up. That’s basically why I love maxi dresses so much… and this maxi dress from White Plum is. the. exact. kind. I’m. talking. about. No, for real. It’s one of those dresses that is so comfortable, but looks REALLY fancy and pretty.

When I put this dress on after it came in the mail my husband was like, “WHOA! Look at you! You look gorgeous.” And let me tell you, ladies… when your husband says that to you, you KNOW it’s good. 🙂

The fabric is a really lightweight, stretchy fabric and so there’s just A LOT of room to move, but it hugs you in all the right places. And for you fellow nursing moms, this maxi is a HUGE win because of the crossover part of the dress in the front makes for really easy nursing access for baby. WOOP!

My only “complaint” about the dress is that the sleeves are a little tight when I first put the dress on and so it takes a little wrangling to get them on straight, but because the fabric is so stretchy, it’s not uncomfortable in any way, so once they’re on right, they’re on and I don’t even notice the tightness anymore.

I also have been wearing these shoes almost every day since I got them. I’ve been on the HUNT for months for the perfect pair of neutral, classic FLATS. I’ve mentioned time and time again that I am just NOT a girl who wears heels. Sure, it happens every so often, but it’s rare… and while I LOVE my TOMS and cowboy boots, I really have needed just a pair of dressier, yet could-be-casual, FLATS. And these Verona Pointed Toe flats are the answer. They’re super comfortable and I have gotten compliments on them every time that I wear them.

We are traveling to Charleston this summer and I would love to take along a new dress – the striped retro reverie, the half moon bay, or the cinque terre dress tunic.     1. I’m 5’3″ for reference so you could wear it with heels / wedges and be okay or you could get it hemmed real easily. I also am wearing a size large and usually wear a size 12. Hope that helps! I loooove this dress
