When the whole “monochromatic” look came in style, I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about it. I wasn’t sure if it was a style I’d like or be able to pull off. And to be honest, I think the monochromatic look is one that has to be done with certain color palettes to be done well (or right).
Regardless, I’ve been loving trying it out recently. It’s one of those styles that can be good on a day when you’re like, “I don’t know what to wear.” Instead of standing and staring, try putting together an outfit in a single color palette.
Am I making sense?
Sassy pants.
Green / gold / brown is an easy color palette to stay within… it’s simple, it’s classic, it’s not too bold, and it’s easy to snazz up with some jewelry or a fun hat!
Also, I have to say I looooooove this sweater from White Plum. It’s so comfy, so easy to throw on with jeans or a skirt or linen pants… and yet, it feels so fancy because… SEQUINS!
What about you? Are you a fan of the monochromatic look? Is it a style you like or have tried?
