I can’t believe I’m about to say this… but in a month, our precious little girl, Lilly, will be TWO YEARS OLD… and a few weeks after that, she will be going to PRESCHOOL. Okay, okay. I know. It’s not a big deal.
We decided to put her in a two-day a week preschool program at a church nearby for a few reasons and I know she will love it and it will be good for her and good for me. BUT, that’s not to say that it’s not still a little mind boggling to me that this is all happening so soon!
…in case you need more proof that I don’t take myself too seriously… 🙂
So, as summer begins to wind down (it will be over before we know it!), I’m spending as MUCH time as I can soaking in all the moments with my little girl that I can. Whether it’s taking her to the pool, the museum, the park, or even having fun with her while doing simple errands like grocery shopping or going to the post office – I’m cherishing every second of every minute.
Now, let’s be honest, when you live in North Carolina… in the summer… and you are constantly chasing a toddler around… comfort and ease are key when it comes to what I’m going to wear and what I’m going to put on my feet. Because, it is not out of the realm of possibility to suddenly find myself chasing my daughter and preventing her from diving into a fountain of some sort.
I absolutely LOVE these comfy sneakers from Famous Footwear – neutral, versatile, comfortable, and easy to chase toddlers in. 🙂 Haha!
