I love jewelry. Over the years, as jewelry trends have come and gone (remember bubble necklaces?!), I have always found myself wearing more personal, unique, and handmade jewelry as my more “everyday” jewelry. There’s something about those pieces that are special to YOU. Maybe it’s a gift from your wedding day, or those heirlooms handed down for generations, or maybe even that pasta necklace your kid made at summer camp.
I was recently introduced to Heidi J. Hale designs and I have absolutely fallen in love with their personalized, handmade jewelry that’s made right here in the United States! They have their very own artisans and metalsmiths in their Muncie, Indiana studio that carefully craft every single piece of jewelry! Each item is so unique and so beautiful! You can really create something customized to symbolize what is important or meaningful to you.
Quick cute story, the day my rings came in the mail, I immediately put them on and couldn’t stop staring at them and thinking how much I loved them. Lilly happened to be napping when the mail came and so when I got her up from nap, I was holding her hand as we walked down the stairs to go to the kitchen. She stopped me and said, pointing to the rings on my finger, “Mommy! Oooo shiny! What’s that new pretty is?” I said, “They’re my new rings with your name, daddy’s name, and Amos’s name on them!” And she immediately replied, “It’s so beetaful! I want to wear it!”
Lilly knows what’s up.
ANYWAY. I have a ring for John, Lilly, and Amos and every single time I wear them I love looking down and seeing their names and being reminded of my sweet family that I carry with me everywhere I go.
The monogram tassel necklace is such a perfect combination of timeless AND trendy. I mean, tassels are EVERYWHERE right now, so that makes it trendy, but the beautiful monogram is so classic and something that will always stand the test of time and be around even as trends come and go. I get SO MANY compliments on this necklace every time I wear it.
