It’s always a little bit confusing this time of year as to what season it ACTUALLY is… especially in North Carolina. This state cannot decide what weather it wants.
But I’m not here to talk about the weather. I AM here to talk about the super cliche “transition to fall” wardrobe tips. Or something.
I am soooooooooooooooo (like, MAJORLY) in love with these lightweight two fit knit cardigans from Grace & Lace co. Not only can you wear it as a sweater over leggings or whathaveyou, but you can also flip it and wear it as a cardigan. They really are crazy lightweight and work as a perfect transitional piece to get you through those awkward times when it’s sort of cold, but also hot.
You can see how I wore another Grace & Lace cardigan here.
And then let’s talk pencil skirts. I never used to be a huge pencil skirt fan, but I guess as I get older and learn to own (and dress) the body I have, I have come to really love pencil skirts. This Agnes & Dora pencil skirt is PHENOMENAL. It’s SO comfortable, I LOVE the floral print, and my husband was like, “Are you gonna be wearing that later?” And I’m all like, “I will if you want me to!” Haha! But seriously… I love it. I feel beautiful and feminine in it and I get so many compliments on it when I wear it.
And no “transition to fall” outfit would be complete without ankle booties. Because, you know, ankle booties are basically what fall is all about. AM I RIGHT?!
