Have you ever seen something or put something on and had someone say to you, “That outfit just SCREAMS you!” Like, it just is “you” in every way. Whether it’s the color or the style or the print or the fit… it just looks like something that you’re “meant” to wear.
This is one of those outfits for me.
I have basically been wearing this kind of look on repeat lately… my new FAVORITE skinny jeans, my new FAVORITE (seriously, favorite) booties of all time (OF ALL TIME), and a flowy peasant-boho-inspired tunic / top. I just love it. It’s comfortable, it’s very “fall”, and I love that all of the brands that I’m wearing are brands that treat their people with kindness. Because kindness is awesome. 🙂
But for real for a second, I just got my Root Collective Espe booties in a few weeks ago (after pre-ordering them in August) and I am in love. Y’all… these are so well made. SO. WELL. MADE. (I also love seeing HOW they were made. Seriously so cool.) They were snug at first, but the amazingly high-quality leather has stretched and conformed to my feet like a dream. A DREAM. Did I mention how much I love them?
Now, Carly and I are teaming up to do more than host our link up. We are teaming up to share brands that we love……brands that give back. Each week we’ll be collaborating with one of our favorite brands to share the cause they support and their amazing products.
This week we are teaming up with The Root Collective. You’ve seen the Root Collective around these parts before…..they’re an amazing company that teams up with artisans in Guatemala to make the cutest shoes you’ve ever seen (and man, are they comfortable)! Each and every Root Collective purchase changes lives by providing jobs with fair pay, kind labor practices, and adorable footwear as a result.
Today we are sharing the Root Collective’s stunning new fall booties. They’ve been mom and teacher tested, and we can both attest to the fact that they’re wearable ALL DAY LONG. Yup, they survived our too much time on your feet tests!

If YOU have a post (new or old) that features a brand that give back…..please include it in the link up. We’d LOVE to see it!
