There are many things I love in this world… a good story is one of them. A few weeks ago I had the absolute honor of having Amy Blair, the founder of Batik Boutique on my podcast, and I grew to have such an enormous respect for an ethical fashion brand that I already loved. There’s something about learning the true heart, soul, and mission behind a company that can really change your perspective.

Each piece is hand dyed using layers of wax and dye to create the beautiful batik patterns. It’s an incredibly laborious process, but the results are stunning.

For those that are curious, this kimono is extremely lightweight.
