Did you know CAUSEBOX released a limited edition Men’s ethical subscription box? I got one for my husband and he shares his thoughts! Check out the full review below…
You are well aware by now of my love and affection for CAUSEBOX, one of my favorite ethical subscription box. I have been a subscriber for over two and a half years and the boxes keep getting better and better. Last month, after a lot of rumor and anticipation, CAUSEBOX released a limited edition MEN’S BOX and I was so excited about it! So, needless to say, it was basically a given that I was going to buy one for my husband and give it to him for Christmas. He knows my love for CAUSEBOX and he has made comments in the past about me getting fun boxes to open up and see what’s inside, so I thought he might enjoy his OWN men’s ethical subscription box.
I bought it, got it, wrapped it up and gave it to him on Christmas and I was probably more excited than he was to open it up and see what was inside. Although, admittedly, he said he was really excited about it, too! Since my husband is hilarious and quick to give his honest opinion on just about anything, I thought I’d share what came in the Men’s CAUSEBOX box and then also share what John thought of each item in his ethical subscription box. His comments, as per usual, did not disappoint.
There are only a few Men’s boxes left… and I am not sure when (or if) they will be releasing another… so HURRY on over to CAUSEBOX to snag one for the man in your life!! This would make an awesome Valentine’s gift or a “just because” gift! BONUS – you can use the coupon code “stillbeingmolly” for $15 off your first CAUSEBOX box.
CAUSEBOX Men’s Ethical Subscription Box Review
Marlowe. – Men’s Facial Scrub and Men’s Facial Moisturizer
Clean, uncomplicated skincare that really works. Marlowe. formulates their products without chemicals and flowery smells, and they donate a percentage of proceeds to Clean the World – to deliver hygiene products and education to at-risk children and families.
So here’s the thing, it’s been real cold of late, all of my skin is real dry. Hands. Face. Legs. Everything. It’s been handy to have this facial moisturizer at such a time as this. If you’ve ever met me, you probably understand that I’m never going to go to the store to buy myself some facial moisturizer, but since it came in this ethical subscription box, I might as well use it. I like the scrub, too.
Nisolo – Passport Cover and Pocket Notebook Holder
Hand-stitched passport and pocket-notebook holder designed and produced exclusively for CAUSEBOX by one of the leading fashion brands in social enterprise. Made by expert craftsmen in Peru.
It’s a good idea, I’ll probably use it at some point if I remember that I own it.
Scout Books – Two AM & PM Custom Notebooks
Set of two custom notebooks for your daily thoughts, to-do lists, and goals – made to fit into your back pocket. Scout Books is a Certified B Corporation – meaning they uphold the highest standards of ethics in business and production.
You ever wake up in the middle of the night with a world-changing, extremely profitable idea that you know you need to implement the next day? But then you wake up in the morning knowing that you had an idea, but not knowing what it was… if that’s you, having this handy notebook on your nightstand will allow you to jot down those ideas. To be clear, I’ve never had a good idea, but if I do, this will save me.
Krochet Kids Intl. – Knit Beanie
One of Krochet Kids’ original, best selling beanies: the 5207.5 – handmade in Uganda and Peru and signed on the inside tag by the woman who made it. Each product provides opportunities for women in need, and helps break the cycle of poverty.
Really convenient that I got this right in the middle of the coldest part of the year, although, I guess they probably plan things that way.
Mr. B’s Necessities – Three Aromatherapy Blends
Set of three essential oil aromatherapy roll-ons formulated for everyday use by a certified aromatherapist. Each of these roll-ons was hand-poured and packaged with natural ingredients in Oceanside, California.
If I wasn’t married to who I’m married to, I would have said, “What is this hippie stuff?” But because I’m married to who I’m married to, I’m on board with these.
Knots Apparel Co. – Black Tie
A modern twist on a wardrobe staple – the classic black tie. Knots Apparel donates half of the profits from each sale to the charities that inspire their products – like Water for Waslala, which is helping to provide clean drinking water to men, women, and children in need in Nicaragua.
It’s a nice tie, it really is. It’s a very nice tie. Unfortunately, I have a really long torso (you know what they say about guys with really long torsos), and I would never be able to get this particular tie long enough to make it work. I’d look like one of those preachers where his tie only comes halfway down his belly. But it’s a very nice tie.
John’s Final Thoughts on the Men’s CAUSEBOX – Winter 2018
It’s pretty much a bunch of stuff that I would never actually go out and get on my own, but it’s all stuff that I can use.
Well, there you have it, folks. John’s honest thoughts on the CAUSEBOX men’s ethical subscription box. While some of his comments might seem a bit sarcastic (because that’s his sense of humor all the way), he really did enjoy getting it! I think it’s such a fun and unique gift for a guy!
What do you think? Would the man in your life like a CAUSEBOX for men box? What did you think of what came in the box?
