I got another Stitch Fix fix this month! You know, because I get one pretty much every month. This month I wanted comfortable pieces and pieces that would make me smile… spoiler alert: this fix actually ended up kind of being a dud. 🙁 BUT, that’s okay! It’s part of the process… not every fix is going to be the best and I’m cool with that!
First, for those of you who are maybe new to this blog or have never heard of Stitch Fix before, let me give you a quick rundown.
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service! You fill out a style profile and you are then assigned a stylist who hand select five pieces just for you. Stitch Fix carries women’s sizes 0-24W, XS-3X, shoes, maternity items, petite items, AND they even have Men’s clothing sizes XS – XXL. They also carry over 1,000 brands! A ton of variety and styles for everyone. Those pieces are sent directly to your doorstep… so you try the pieces on at home, decide what you like and would want to wear and keep, and simply send back the rest in a prepaid envelope. You are charged a $20 styling fee that is credited towards an item in your fix if you decide to keep something. That’s it! It’s super easy.
Now, on to this month’s fix review…
This is a BEAUTIFUL necklace. I’ll be honest, when I saw the picture in my preview before I received it, I wasn’t all that excited about it. It’s much prettier in person and definitely I was pleasantly surprised by it. BUT, I decided not to keep it. I have so much jewelry and this particular necklace, while it is beautiful, is not one I would wear all the time… so I returned it.
This dress was comfortable, but there just wasn’t anything “special” about it. It didn’t look great on me and I felt that the price for this dress was high for being what it was. I wanted to love it! 🙁
I was also pleasantly surprised by this top. It’s really soft and comfortable… it’s a high quality material and I love the ruffle details. But the print is just not my style. I felt like it aged me. So I decided to return it.
This is a really cute top and the fabric is crazy soft. It’s very comfortable and it’s a great basic top. It just wasn’t a hard “YES” for me, which means it’s a “no.”
I really, really wanted to love this top. It’s SO SOFT and it’s so comfortable, but as strange as this might sound, it is too short. I felt like it hit my torso / waist in a weird spot and I wished it were longer… so, I decided to return it.
What do you think? Do you think I should have kept anything that I returned?
