December 9, 2016·

I first found the Sparrow Studio on Instagram sometime last spring and I immediately fell in love with their beautiful jewelry! Seriously… EVERY single piece is so, so, so beautiful, and SO unique!!

But once I learned more about the vision and heart behind this amazing small business, the more and more I loved them!

The Sparrow Studio is a marketplace that carries beautiful handmade home decor and jewelry that is made from a cooperative of women in Africa. Primarily composed of 35 women in Kigali, Rwanda, these women are not only hard working mothers, wives, talented creatives, savvy businesswomen… they are also survivors of the 1994 genocide. Many of them are also HIV positive and victims of human trafficking.

These women are warriors.

I love that the Sparrow Studio really has a wrap-around approach to create a sustainable living and provide real opportunity for these women to break the cycle of poverty in their families and in their communities.

I LOVE them and so so so so so believe in what they are doing and cheer them on along the way! They have beautiful options for gifts, holiday, and more! Check them out!!
