Lilly is SEVEN!

August 18, 2020·

Here we are again… another trip around the sun for Lilly girl! This girl is seven years old and my mind is blown. I mean, I know I’ve been blogging for nearly 13/14 years now, but to think that many of you were here and reading this blog before I was pregnant, remember when I announced being pregnant, remember my pregnancy with Lilly, and now… here she is and she is SEVEN. That is just mind blowing to me. There’s something about the age of seven that just sounds so much older than six. Am I alone in this feeling?

Lilly just started first grade (virtually, obviously), and she’s in a dual language program learning Spanish. We are so thankful for how bright she is, her kind heart, and for how hilarious she is. She loves to dance and sing and play. She is currently Barbie OBSESSED and loves playing allllllll things Barbies. She has lost two teeth so far (BOTH had to be pulled by the dentist… YIKES).

In the past year she’s learned how to perfect riding her bike without training wheels, is learning how to swim, and is also learning how to roller skate. She’s the perfect mix of girly girl while also wanting nothing to do with wearing dresses or skirts – it’s shorts and tees for this girl. She loves her friends, her family, her neighbors, and just generally laughing and being a goof ball.

We are so thankful for this amazing young lady and I pray every day that she knows how much her Father in Heaven loves her and how much her parents here on earth love her.

As always, I share her annual birthday interview so that you can see a little bit more into the mind of this girl! I always write her answers exactly as she says them!

Happy Birthday, Lilly!
